Try using a kerosene. That's a fast, cheap and easy way, but it can hurt your fabric too.

If the fabric is white use white petrol or Acitone. If it is of other colours use "SPRAY WAY SPOT LIFTER" manufactured by Spray Inc., Addison, Illinois. For addittional info pl visit spraywayinc.com

Have you thought of trying Dawn dishsoap? My husband is a mechanic and I often use this to treat really oily clothing items. You just need to be careful not to use too much or it takes forever to get the soap rinsed away.
