Is it safe to surf internet today?modern techniques a blessing or a curse?

This is why I always say to my friends that is necessary to be more expertise with PC before they going to surf on the internet but it seamless to say this, because they don't hear me. So people working on PC's first time in life and same day going to internet without any basic knowledge...

Ya if you are sensible and not so silly ... Use internet is such a way that it is usefull for you.. Like to get information and to chat with your frineds and view websites like www.orkut.com and of cours My Lot..!!

Are our streets totally safe? No, but you can reduce your risks by taking precautions. Same thing with the Internet -- you have to know what can hurt you so you can protect yourself. Never mind the keyloggers, which while real are not everywhere, maybe mainly in Internet cafes. There are the scammers and script kiddiots. When the Internet was new here in the Philippines, I got my first 419 scam email about a year after I got my first email address. Then it was another several months until the next one. Now, I get at least one every three days.

just stay out of sites that are pretty doubtful and dont give your personal information to anyone... ^_^ be safe! be aware! be responsible!
