Have you ever had acne? Do you still currently have it or has it cleared up? What skincare products seem to work best for you?

I am 41 and still get ocassional acne. My mother is 62 and still gets it too. Acne is caused by hormonal imbalances.

Due to acne being caused by the hormones, it is futile to believe that over the counter products will cure you. Nothing applied topically will effect the hormones.

I go back and forth between Aveeno oatmeal soap and Oil of Olay foam soap.. I always follow it with Oil of Olay lotion.. Leaves my face so soft..

I have a couple spots but I am pregnant and I think they are due to hormones because they are in a place where I normally wouldnt get them. I can't use any products but soap and right now all I use is neutrogena translucent bar soap. Doesn't do too bad of a job considering it's all I'm allowed to use at the moment.
