This may seem like an unusual or unlikely story, but it is true and it has a happy ending... or the hope of a happy ending!
A friend of mine was telling me the tragic story of a man he knows whose wife was involved in a couple of affairs with other men. She was angry because her husband slept with another woman, which is understandable.
She had the opportunity to repay him by acting in kind. The marriage relatinship was weakened even further to the point that he was devistated without knowing what to do to repair the damage he had helped to create, and she ultimately became open to an ongoing affair that lasted a fairly long time with a "good friend" of his who is also married.
So, here we have two people, drifting apart but staying together, both have been unfaithful, and their marriage is a joke, right?
Not to me! I heard this story and was saddened, because I know the pain of unfaithfulness and have witnessed its destructive path in the lives of so many others. But I was encouraged to learn that this couple is staying together, seeking to repair their relationship, forgiving each other, and doing whatever is necessary to be faithful from this point forward.
The title may seem odd given that they were both technically unfaithful, but the beauty of their story is that they loved each other enough to forgive each other and remain committed to one another... and that is the perfect picture of faithfulness!

WOW! That is a true example of Faithfulness! Me and my husband have been through alot, and Praise God we are still together! I am a believer, but he isn't. But I am holding on to what 1 Cor.7:13-14 tell me. Now, all I can do is be faithful to my Lord and Saviour, He will take care of the rest!
