i would prefer a baby boy as my first child. im not completely sure why. i think its just because i like the idea of all the activities you can do with a lad... its more likely that the lad will want to go for a kick about in the park with you... or want to do all manner of other things that is just not likely to with a girl.. a girl you expect to want to go shopping and similar..and who will be the immediate choice for this, the mother of course. i guess i just want to spend the most time with my child. that cant be a bad thing surely? cheers, khris

Well I am not yet decided. I am not married but its a rather difficult choice. Each has its merits and demerits so I would prefer an easier option leave it on god to decide.

It didnt matter to me..I just wanted to carry to term (my first preg ended up a miscarriage) and I wanted him/her to be healthy...I ended up with a very healthy psycho son who is now 13 LOL..the pic is about 3 yrs old...

When I deside to have kids I want to have a boy first then I want a girl. I want my boy to be older so that he can protect his little sister. If I end up having a girl first then that's fine too. As long as they are healthy.

I don't see why it should matters if it's boy or girl, just hope for a healthy baby and safe pregnancy. I have had 8 miscarriages and 2 children with multiple hospital stays -- I don't care if I have a boy or girl, just a happy, healthy child.
