ok this is for the girls and for the guys who know, lol. i hate split ends and recently cut my hair so that my ends would stay nice but i hate cutting my hair, i like to keep it long, anyway i also like to use my straighteining iron and for those of you who know that causes serious damage to your ends. my question is does anyone know of anything good that will repair split ends or will prevent them. and im serious i don't want to see oh put some poop on it bcuz it has a lot of vitamins im not going to do that be realistic people! ur ideas can be store bought of home made whatever works for you!

Okay, I'm a hairstylist and you should have your hair trimmed about 1/2 inch every six to eight weeks to keep the split ends in check and to keep your hair healthy. To help aid in this because you use a straight iron do a conditioning treatment every week. Take some conditioner(doesn't have to be anything special) put it on your ends. Heat up a wet towel in the microwave(not to hot) and wrap your hair up in it. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. rinse out. If you do this you will notice that your hair is getting healthier and will have a nice shine to it.

cool I'll try this, I bought something recently by beyond the zone, it's called hair mender or something it's like a leave in conditioner for ur hair and helps prevent the split ends, and it helps to repair them. I've been cutting my split ends everytime I find one. lol.

I use chlosterol in my hair, you can buy it at walmart or anywhere, it's around $3.00 and it's orange and gooey but it works. I also use it as a shaving cream it's much smoother.
