Do u use scientific calculator? And if yes, do u know all of its function?

Yes i was using that since long, at that time computers and internet was not there, i still carry that in my hand bag, it has been part of my life, i use for complex calculations mostly, not in the mall for ordinary calculations.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

Scientific calculators have sin cos and tan function to compute for angles and sides of triangles trigonometric functions. while the Dx is used for calculus Dx/Dy for integral calculus, fractions have its functions too. while ! sign is for factorials and probabilities. And we can go on and on.. hehehe

Yes I use scientific calculator but I know only two or three functions, such as calculation of , sd, mean and square root .That is all.

I have a TI-85 and a TI-84+. I bought the first one to do College Algebra. Now I'm taking Statistics and had to buy the TI-84+ because my teacher only knows how to work the 84+ and I don't want to get lost trying to figure out what functions on the 85 will make it do what he is doing on the 84. And I certainly don't have time to read the book for the 85 which is as thick as my Statistics textbook. I plan on giving the 85 for my nephew to use in his high school Algebra class.

i dont have any clue about some of the functions ,sometimes out of boredom i try to solve the mystery of all the functions but i m rrarely able to do it

My school requires us to use scientific calculator.Same as you,i use it normally and don't know much about the full function! I am using Casio fx-4100p right now.One way power with all common functions!

My son had a scientific calculator for school yes he used it because he had to for school. Does he know all the functions I doubt it.

I know they require a scientific calculator in high schools here. All Calculus students use them. They are allowed in SAT exam also but I have not used it so I don't know about the functionality.

I have Casio fx-991MS scientific calculator. As an engineering student, I usually use it during computations but still I don't know all its functions."pol means polar and the other one "Rec" means rectangular.
