A Man Ashamed etc. - George Bernanrd Shaw

George Bernard Shaw, Irish writer, in his play, Man and Superman, wrote in the Act I: The more things man is ashamed of, the more respectable he is. I would agree with this. If a man is capable of being ashamed of his actions and admits it to himself, his family and his friends then he would certainly warrant my respect for him. In fact, any one who can admit his/her mistakes and/or failures shows that heshe is aware of his/her weaknesses and not afraid to admit to them. What are your thoughts?
