I think there is a very thin line between bribery and rewarding especially when it comes to an innocent mind of children. From childhood, people are exposed to different kinds and way of bribery. Just like on the photo, that made me really, really guilty when my sister, her boyfriend and I did something really bad to a cousin (kid on the pic). When we made him cry and tried to stop him thru giving stuffs like, chocolates, hologram photos of wrestling celebs and money. I realized my super wrong deed, I asked God for forgiveness, also apologized to the kid and explained to him that what we did was really terrible especially for grown ups who should be good examples esp for young people. To make up we went out, and again explained to him that we feel sorry for playing his emotions. Kids are kids, always have a forgiving heart and mind to be well guided. Unlike rewarding, we do that when someone did something good but still we also have to be cautious that what we're doing wouldn't affect a young mind that material things can pay everything, even good deeds or bad to be good. A very good lesson to me! We should never underestimate children's way of thinking, never ever! Quite long but thanks for your time! You may share your views on this, anything. Thanks for reading!

You haven't uploaded the photo you mentioned, where is it? I think you have nice photos on your profile, that's why I want to see more. MyLot changed their guidelines, we cannot upload photos unless we have 500up points, sad! But regarding your bribery post, yeah, we have to be cautious on that! We shouldn't pollute children's innocent minds!

I fall on this. Unconsciously, I don't know but I think I do this kind of bribery to some kids. You are right about the rewarding and bribery. maybe, that's why there are lots of people who bribe and accepts bribe because of that culture. Giving something that children may think as payment for the bad thing you've done to them. I've realized that but still thanks for more awareness. Just want to ask, where is the photo you mentioned? Thanks

I uploaded the photo but I don't know it was not with my discussion when I posted it. Sorry I don't think they still allow image in comments, I cannot see any option here. I'll upload it on my photos, you may visit my profile and take a look. Being aware that you do something is already good, now you have to do something about it, just always keep in mind that you wouldn't want your child to grow in a society like that. Thanks!
