Whats your favorite side dishes when you BBQ? Why are these your favorite?
I think my favorite have to be potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans. I think they're probably my favorite because they're traditional BBQ side dishes. Love them they're delicious. Oh and deviled eggs!

We like frozen french fries. I buy them in big packages, then spread them out on a baking stone and bake them. My kids like the really think ones, like McDonald's fries, but hubby and I prefer the big steak fries.
Sometimes I make my own french fries, but I'll partially cook the potatoes first in the microwave so it doesn't take as long to cook. Just peel the potato, poke holes in it, put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, then cut it up into whatever style you'd like. Again, we bake our fries, not deep fry them.
We're not big potato salad fans or coleslaw, but we do occasionally like baked beans with them... but usually that's saved for picnics.

I like my homemade potato salad best. I make my grandmother and mother's recipe and it is delicious. Baked beans are also okay. I've seen macaroni and cheese served with BBQ and it was okay. One of the best things to make sure you have is some soft fresh bread for sopping up the sauce!

I love BBQ's. And I love having a variety of things to go with it. My favorites are salt potatoes and corn on the cob. I like potato and macaroni salad too but only if there isn't any "things" in it,like celery or chunks of stuff. Baked beans are okay once in awhile.

I agree with potato salad, maybe even a pasta salad to balance the hotness of the BBQ. A nice dinner roll is always a good idea too, that way you can dip it!

My favorites include grilled corn on the cob and salt potatoes. I also love to make veggie kabobs and grill those. I'm vegetarian so I'm all about the sides at a BBQ.

You've forgotten CORN ON THE COB!!!! How could you??? The best way to cook is to keep the leaves on, pull them down and remove the corn hair. Add salt, a hunk of butter and pull the leaves up and roast on the grill, turning the sides around every other minute. YUM, YUM!!!

I like cornbread, corn on the cob and potato salad as my sides. A nice glass of cold sweet tea would be perfect with BBQ, too.

Potatoe salade is the TOPS, but broccoli salade will along with that very good as well. That is one of my family and friends favorites.
Corn on the cob is great when it is in season of course.
You know all this talk is making me want to have a BBQ right now.
