We like to get different ideas for meals, so my question is what are you planning on having for dinner tonight? Is what your having on your menu each week?
Please no one word answers to this discussion. I'll read and rate each response. I'll respond when I can but wanted to say thank you for any responses ahead of time.

Tonights an easy one. We have the bar b que on, and we are doing turkey links. Making a salad, corn on the calb on the grill, and fried breaded veggies. I made some home made bagels too. We eat this once in awhile.

Tonight I am making a salad and fried shrimps. Whipped fresh potatoes, carrots, and string beans. Homemade french bread. No, this is not a weekly dinner. But, I do make shrimp weekly, but not fried.

We are having left over roast beef for dinner. I took a slice, put it on bread, and melted a piece of American cheese on it. I also had brussel sprouts and some yogurt.

One of my favorites to cook is pan fried pork cube steaks. My family loves them! Take pork cube steaks, coat in Whole wheat flour & ground pretzels (no egg) with parsely, dried onion flakes, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Pan fry until done (few minutes on each side)in olive oil (EVOO). Serve with a salad or baked potato and veggie. YUMO!

Tonight's dinner for us:
Roast pork (cooked in homemade sauce with onions and apples around it)
Baked potato
Green beans
Last night's dinner:
Pierogi skillet: browned two sausage links (removed from casings and crumbled), several cut up onions, 1k peirogi, and added frozen peas near the end. Also a little bit a fat free sheep cheese.
Saurkraut
Thursday:
Probably BBQ chicken
Rice (boiled in turkey stock)
Carrots
Spinach (cooked)
Another favorite here is black bean burritos - homemade black beans (in crockpot), whole wheat tortillas, and whatever else we have - rice, homemade guac, homemade salsa, shredded cheese, fresh chopped onion or sauted onion and pepper, etc.
Hope this helps!

Grilled hamburgers tonight for me i love to grill, and by adding some hamburger seasonings, I make a delicious grilled hamburger that makes ones mouth water. Especially mine.
There's many things I do to make different burgers. Top the burger with warmed DAK ham and bbq sauce. Add some A-1. Chop up an onion finely, and mix it in with the meat along with some minced garlic and then form the burgers - this is much better then the Lipton Onion soup mix.
And don't forget to toast the buns on the grill before serving. That really adds to the final burger.
Oh, and toss out the American Cheese Fat, and use real Cheddar cheese slices.
I like my burger to be topped with LTM, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and onion. You could say it's almost a Dagwood burger.

Our menu would differ every week. I like to experiment with different things. Last night I cooked chicken with almonds:
Ingredients
1 small onion chopped
2 oz/50g mushrooms sliced
1 oz butter
10 mo//2tsp cournflour
300ml/1.5pint milk
350g/12oz cooked chicken meat chopped
1.25ml/.25tsp each ground ginger and ground nutmeg
150g/5oz natural yoghurt
1 egg yolk
salt and freshly ground pepper
25g/1oz flaked almonds toasted
Fry onion and mshrooms in butter in a saucepan until pale gold
Add cornflour. Cook for 1 minute. Then blend in milk.
Cook stirring until sauce boils
Add chicken, ginger and nutmeg
Simmer gengtly for 5-7 minutes
Beat together yoghurt and egg yolk. Add to chicken
Cook very slowly without boiling, until thickened
Season to taste and pour into a serving dish. Scatter with almonds.

We had taco salad for dinner tonight. We prepared the meat like you would for regular tacos, let it cool and added it to salad, added some shredded cheese, tossed in some italian dressing and then let the kids crush lime-flavoured nachos on top, and hubby and I put salsa and sour cream on ours as well.

With the kids home from school for holiday break, we made a ton of food that we froze and stored for leftovers! I know leftover don't always sound appealing, but we've got lots of great soups, casseroles, and various kinds of meat stored.
So a great meal is only 2 minutes (in the microwave) away!
