There is a discuss out there only asking to discuss abortion without relegion, but I can't discuss that without my faith. I can't make a decision to abort my child when I know that God is the one that gave me that life. God has made that decision to give you that life and to kill it is wrong....IT'S AGAINST GOD! So DISCUSS!!!!

I can understand someone wanting to discuss it without religion. Not everyone is religious, or follows a religion that seems to be against abortion, and those people don't deserve to have people telling them off. Not that that stops a lot of people, unfortunately. I think it was mainly a precaution to avoid anyone trying to preach, which is disrespectful to those of different faiths. It's a huge whole world, and one of the things that makes human beings so amazing and wonderful are our differences. Sadly, some people don't respect differences in culture and faith, and feel they have to use their own personal beliefs to justify or dictate other people's actions.

Thank you for your comment. I understand everything you are saying. I don't want to push anything on anyone, just inform them that when they make a decision in Killing a child that GOD gave them, it will have consequences.

But to people who don't believe in God - I do, I'm a Christian - that can come across as very offensive. They don't believe the way we do. They don't hold our faith. It would be like someone of Buddhist faith telling you that if you step on an ant, you're going to face consequences in your next life. I know that would be irritating and offensive to me - I'm not Buddhist, my religion doesn't prohibit stepping on bugs. Or if an Aethist told me I was a bad person for believing in God. That's what they believe, not what I believe. Just because something's a sin in our eyes doesn't mean it's a sin in someone else's.

How interesting, I am a Christian and I am Pro-choice. I have studied the Bible, yet I have found no reference to abortion mentioned. This is surprising since abortions have been practice for many years, dated back before Jesus walked the earth. IMO, if this act was so against God, then why did he not ever mention of it, as he seems to for many other sins from incest, homosexual acts to even being a hypocrite? Secondly God’s silence on this issue is further supported by God bestowing us with free will. Free will very much includes, a woman’s moral and legal right to choose whether or not to continue her pregnancy. If God gives free will, who are we to attempt to take that, especially when God doesn’t even find this topic interesting enough to mention?

SUNSHINE -
This is God's world
God made everything in it
He makes all the decisions in this world.
All His decisions are perfect and He makes them for a reason.
If He blesses a woman's womb with a child, then she needs to care for it.
It's God's Will not that woman's.

I have to start with
Psalms 139:13-14 "For YOU formed my inward parts; You wove my mother's womb. I give thanks to YOu, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your workds. And my soul knows it very well."
God is perfect and makes no mistakes, so if He decides to weave a child within a woman's womb that means He wants it to stay there and not have it riped from her body.
Verses 15 and 16 of that same chapter reads: "My frame was not hidden for You, When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrounght in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me."
God knows what the child is going to look like before he/she is even made. He knows what his live is going to be before he/she is even born. To kill that life is wrong. I know that it is mentioned twice in the bible "You shall not murder." Once in Exodus 20 and the other in Deuteronomy 5. That is enough in itself.
I believe that if someone kills someone else that it's wrong and they should pay the consequences...so if you kill a child that God puts inside you, there should be consequences for that too. The world don't see that cause they are corrupted with sin.
For you to say that you are a Christian and ProChoice...LOL.
You are trying to control how to live your life instead of surrendering your life to GOD, if you say that ProChoice.
ProLife, God has given a Life and you need to respect His Perfect desicion and carry that child. There is a reason He gave you that child. He has reason for everything He does. You may not see it at first, but He will make them present. God is a loving God and though we don't ever deserve His love, He continues to bless us. But don't forget that with Love comes Discipline and when we make poor decisions that are unrighteous, HIS Wrath on us will be unforgiving.
PROLIFE IS GOD'S WAY!!!

Many people want to remove religion from discussions because they think that it will give them a "leg up" or that people cannot make a legitimate argument against abortion apart from religion. The truth of the matter is that taking a life is in all sense of the word wrong.
"You shall not murder." Exodus 20:13 and Deuteronomy 5:17
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:14-16

I saw it also and I have posted the following:
I am a christian and I live here on earth basing my thoughts and actions on the Holy Bible. Christians ought to follow the doctrines or teachings laid down on the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the Word of God and it is the truth.
Therefore, if you want this topic to be discussed without the use of one's religion, Christians should not participate. Christianity is the way of life of Christians, that is inseparable from them because it is in their blood, their life.
Anyway, I have started a topic entitled The Bible on Birth Control which includes abortion. If you care to hear what the Bible says, pls go to my profile and open such topic or any topic there especially those in relation to the Holy Bible if you so desire.
May God bless you. SEN

I think that's a perfectly valid choice - for you.
Where I have problems is where people start telling me what I can and cannot do based on _their_ religious beliefs. My actions are based on my conscience, not theirs.

Actually there are groups for choice with members of various religious backgrounds, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and ect. We feel because of our faith, choice is a moral decision left to the individual and no one interpretation of when life begins, should be considered law. Here is a link to one group I am a member of, it's called Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

Wrong, the Bible (the only form of God’s word we have) defines "life", and we all have our own interoperations of the Bible, the various denominations and churches!
That's reality.
BTW I don't think I am force feeding, but giving the option of checking things out and seeing there are those with relgious beleifs for choice and why. I could just do a HUGE cut in past like some of these anti choicers do.

I believe that the religion never will allow somebody to take off the life of another person, therefore this is not certain.
I think that the abortion is something missed not only for cause dareligião, but because nobody has the right to kill a person, still more somebody that did not ask for to come to this world.

well its not always go about religion while deciding about abortion.i mean if you dont to kill it its ok but what if you are not in a condition to bring it up.what if you have no job, dont have a home or not ready to prenting.you will ruin both the life, the mothers and the child.and you can also make the childs life more miseralbe if you decide to leave it in a orphanage and it may never know who its parents are and may become depressed for life or may be troubled child and may also become a criminal.so you should really consider the situations before believeing in religion blindfoldedly.

God gave you a brain and the ability to use that brain. It saddens me that you cannot make a decision based on your own mind and your own knowlege, but instead have to follow what you think God wants you to do. It's time to cut the apron strings. God is your father. He has turned you loose and given you the wings to fly, yet you consistantly call him to give you the answers.
I say this, not because I disagree with your views on abortion. I do, but that's not the point. I say this because you cannot discuss the subject without your father's assistance. My question is, can you make any decision without your Father's assistance?

I don't want to make a decision without the assistance of my Heavenly Father. You see this as a great weakness or dependence upon another ... I see it as great humility and dependence on the only One worth trusting.

I understand your point and I respect your opinion. However, I don't see it as a weakness, per se. I take the term "Heavenly Father" pretty literally. God is my Father and as such, I believe he wants me to stand on my own two feet and make my own decisions. As a mother, I want my kids to be independent, coming to me only when they can't find their own way out. This is not for my well-being, but for theirs. My own parents have always been the same. I view God as a parent like any other parent. He will always be there when I need him, and I do need him, but he gave me a brain to use to make my own decisions and mistakes, and the will to dig myself from under those mistakes.

Your Heavenly Father isn't a father like any other ... he's perfect. We as parents are not perfect. I do agree with you that God has given us brains to make our own decisions and even our own mistakes. Like any parent He hopes to save us from many mistakes, heartbreak, and as much destruction as possible. He does not desire to control us, but He does desire us to rely on Him, trust Him and call on Him.
He daily wants us to call on His name, because He cares for us and loves us and wants thevery best for us.

Amazing, yet one more person trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't do with my body. What part of it's none of your business don't you guys get? Whether it is right or wrong NO ONE deals with whatever the consequenses are but that person who makes the decision. The Bible has been translated so many times, who know how Heavenly Father intended it to read! Heavenly Father has given us all free will and guess what, with that free will we can make decisions about.....abortion. We should all be able to make decisions about our bodies without someone in our face all the time telling us we are wrong. That is not anyone's place. That has been reserved for when we meet our maker.

The abortion.
According to my view was the murder towards the generation, then whether the woman who wanted to abort his child did not feel the woman who wanted to abort his child was sick not really was sick that in felt the woman when was the abortion, when they understood the feeling of being sick that possibly not there are those that wanted to do that, the abortion was the murder of the generation and was not that mentolelir that.
