we bathe him every other day. we had a hard time at first that whenever he sees his towel, he'd run as fast as he could and would hide away from us. hahahaha he's so naughty and funny. but lately, he got used to it and would go directly to the bathroom when he sees us holding his towel. cute isn't it?

I had to aske my vet about that too. He told me that as long as I use the puppy shampoo that is made to be gentle enough to not dry out my dog's skin, then they can have a bath once a week. Which, I have found they don't need one every week...but once every two weeks seem to do okay.
And they have not had dry skin. :)

I think once a month is ok for most dogs. I bath my dog every 1-2 weeks depending on how dirty she is and how bad she smells, but she can go outside so she can get pretty dirty sometimes. She is a Minature Poodle and she sometimes has dry skin. I have a really grate coat spray that moisturizes her skin and it makes her smell great, so I don't need to bath her that much.
About the actual bath, it helps when you take your time. Also try to make it a special time for you two, I mean act like its great fun and your dog should enjoy it more as well.

it depends on how often the dog is outside, normally once a month. however if he is outside all the time 2 a month is good.

i heard that is better if i wash my dogs rarely. Now i don't know what to say, maybe that depend's on dog's that you have. For example i have a husky and i can'd wash him, he wash himself...but i have a small dog to and i thinck that i wash him once in three months.
