yes dost a person can tell you a lie but a book never,i have not been to himalayas, there are some remote places, in India where there are sages, i travel a lot we have many places in south where people say there are sages, and Himalayas yes there would be obviously sages, meditating for many many years, agreeing without questioning is wrong, There is no Thing called Miracle, everthing is Science, People who don't understand Science( can't Prove) call It Miracles.

allways questioning will not help!
Like if one says everything we see is only Maya we will question it but Science has already postulated that what we see is all 3 dimensional appearences from 2 dimensional images projectyed on the boundary of the Universe ( like holographic pictures ) read Black Hole wars by famous Theoritical Physicist from Stanford ( I do not remember his name ) see national geogrphics serial Cosmos- the quantum leap & time wrap)
we should accept and look for proof like al;l theories oScince were accepted like quantum theory theory of relativity multiverse theory 9 dimesnional universe theory Etc etc

There are many places in HImalaya region which are not known by general public. There sages live & by the power of meditation they do such things which we even can't imagine.
Many have the art of coming out of their body & then getting in..I mean soul going out of the body & then again getting in.
I don't know you will believe me or not. But its TRUTH..100 perc.....Other things are also there but you people won't believe.

Well nobody exactly knows but there are some budhist monastries down there in the remoteplaces in himalayas and more this al depends on the mind rather than the place itself ...the main motto of the book was to make ur living place like that of sivans ......
