Hey, I have not used paypal before can anybody tell me if a bank account is needed necessarily for using paypal

no bank account is necessary to open paypal account ,why do people say they need bank account or a credit card is because if u want to withdraw the money or make a purchase u cannot do its because ur not verified so u need a bank account or a credit card
