I am in dire need of a good chili recipe but nothing hot.

We are having our monthly Pot Luck Dinner at work (new job) and we draw from a bowl, a dish to bring. I picked Chili. Trouble is I've never made it before. Due to so many others who will also be eating it, it needs to be mild. Does anyone have a good recipe that is economical, tasty, and easy to make?

On New Years Eve I went to a BBQ and I took some raw prawns with some chili marinate from the supermarket and the people who had the BBQ mixed the marinade with a few extra things that they thought would be nice and just threw it on the hot plate and swirled them around mixing the marinade over the prawns and it was absolutely delicious....
