Hi venshida,I am cross stitching a birth annoucement for my new grandson, he is 3 weeks old. I made 3 or 4 afghans 2 hats and a really soft bunny snuggling toy for him before he was born.
I am going out to Michaels tomorrow to buy yarn for an afghan for my daughter, she is getting new living room furniture and I want to make one to go with it. I can't wait to start it. It looks very challanging and very pretty. She is the same one that just had the baby.
AS far as my craft goals, I like you plan on finishing anything I have that needs finishing after these 2 projects I mentioned above. I plan on teaching my daughter to crochet and we have talked about making items to sell. So this should be a great year for me and crafts.
Have a Happy new year doing your crafts
Carolyn

I should finish a knitting project before starting another, but I always seem to have so many different things on the needles!

I'm like you kerri I start more than one project at the same time. I just seem to have a need to try something new. I guess it's better to do it when it's fresh on your mind.

I'm the same way! I have at least 4 projects going right now, and I'm not even close to finishing any of them. On one hand, having many projects breaks up the monotony of just working on one thing (I tend to get bored with projects easily), but on the other hand, I have so many going that I can't seem to finish any! I'm really trying to get better about it, though.

I am knitting mini-stockings to give as gifts next Christmas, as well as slippers for my husband's birthday. I am trying to get at least two Christmas gifts done each month, as I didn't have very much time last year and ended up buying a lot of gifts. I wanted to make them.

I always try to finish projects before starting another one, but it never works out that way!
I guess my goal would be to stop buying new yarn until I need it!
I am currently working on items for my new online shop! I have sold a lot on e-bay, but can't wait to have this little online shop! Check it out at http://stitchesandsteel.etsy.com I will be opening it within a day!!! I'm just finishing up a few last projects.

Currently I am working on some altered paint cans for two new babies in the family. I am also working on some cards and scrapbook layouts since my show season should be starting soon. I always tell myself that I am going to finish one project before moving on to the next, but I get bored and want to try new things so I usually end up working on three or more at time. The one thing I do for sure is I won't buy anymore supplies for a new project unless I have completed a project. It keeps the craft area from overflowing (sometimes LOL)

I'm crocheting a king size afghan. I've been working on it for a long time. I also do latch hooking. I found a company that will pay me to do this.

Right now I am working on decorating my hair sticks using sculpey to make a large end cap, like a large bead. I am slowly getting the hang of using the polymer so My next projects will go from the simple round bead to something oblong with contrasting sculpey for the design, so I will be making a cane and cutting it.
After this I might investin a pasta machine to work the sculpey, and do some frames for mirros and accents adding translucent and liquid polymer clays.

That's funny! My goal for 2006 was to finish up more of the projects I start. I hate to say it, but I was not successful! Right now my latest project is to sew up some fancy pillows for my new bedroom decor. Complete with bead and ribbon trim embelishments.

I'm currently trying to finish some Thank You cards from Birthday (and one christmas) presents I received. I'm so horribly fussy though and never really like anything I do, which is why I have a grand total of one made. I'm hoping to get a few more done later today. It's getting a bit late to send them now, although I am contemplating putting my mothers name on their too so it looks less late.
Craft goals this year is to start making christmas presents early. I planned to make a whole pile last year, but sadly only got to one December Birthday and one Christmas present. As part of this I want to try out candle making.
Overall, I'd like to actually finish a few projects, majorily get my scrapbooking under control.

I'm in the middle of a lot of knitting projects, including a hoodie, wristwarmers, a skirt, a stuffed pirate panda doll, and a shawl that I promised my mom.
