Where do Ebay Power Sellers get their desginer and name brand merchandise?

I am wondering where all those Ebay power sellers, or at least those who sell a lot of merchandise get their "inventory?" I am particularly interested in women's fashion items: clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry and lingerie. I see so many people that sell pages of clothes from Victoria's Secret saying they are all customer returns. How do people acquire these items from Victoria's Secret? Do they just call us their customer service dept and inquire about purchasing customer returns wholesale? Do they live in the area where the warehouse is and go there when they are haviing a "clearing out" sale. Coach handbags are another thing I see a lot of, any idea where someone would get 40 Coach handbags to sell on Ebay? Sometimes I question the authenticity of designer items on Ebay, and I am always curious where they actually get them...
