You used the word SHIFT, right? It means it keep changing, So if it is night shift for ever it is ok, but unfortunately it is not like that. So we are pushing our body to different time zones, which is not good.

It doenst make any big difference between the day shifts and night shifts to me. All you need to do is concentrate on yoru work. Then you will never fall asleep.
Graveyard shifts would be difficult sometimes. If you wake up around 10pm, your mind says i should not do this shift anymore. If it is really cold, then you really feel like sleeping in the nice bed again. I used to think, i should change the shift. But you have to work hard to grow further. So i just adopt myself to any kind of shifts.

Yes .. I loved working night shift ... I did it for 20 years ... it's the best shift to work on ... most of the bosses only work day times .. it seems to be a better crowd of workmates too ... tidier and getting the work done faster .. and best of all I got paid extra money for doing the night shift ...
When you do a night shift you can go home and sleep .. then you have all afternoon and the evening to do what you want .. the shops are open .. less people because they are mostly at work .. you get longer weekends as it seems like Monday is a full day off as well as saturday and Sunday .. I loved it ...

I haven't worked graveyard shift but I did do a contract job for a bit where I had to work 5PM - 9PM "supposedly" but I worked a lot of extra hours and often didn't get home until 1 or 2 AM. I found it difficult to start but, after the first week or so, I got used to it. I was sometimes tired in the mornings, having to get my kids up for school, but it was worth it because I was there for them at that time and also when they got home. The only thing I really missed was having dinner with the family (since we are people that eat dinner together, every night, at the table)
