guyz,..captaincy is taking itz toll on Dravid.The man who was rock solid in the middle order,has been completely lacklustre in this tour. what may be reasons behind it ??

ya...it seems that finally captaincy is taking its toll in the form of rahul and he seems to be in tremendous pressure and because of that he is not able to perform to its potential...it seems that time has come to probably make Yuvi as captain of team india. Also rahul is not young anymore and he is 33 and he needs to be given a place in the team only if he perform consistantly

barring this tour,tht guys career graph has been the most consistent,..last yr he won all the trophies at ICC awards,his commitment is amzing,may be wid time the centerstage once occupied by sachin has been taken over by rahul in our subconscious mind,and his failure looks so magnified ..even though it is just only a minor drop considering his whole career

Dravid has still got lot of cricket in him he is in a bad form for the movment but certainly he will bounce back.

one bad series cannot make Rahul Dravid a bad player, he will come better in d next series bcoz he is capable of coming bak

Reasons may be plenty and regarding captaincy issue, i also agree that captaincy started taking a toll on dravid as most of the times he has to shoulder the responsibilty alone and it was actually a pumishment sort off for replying too much on youngsters and now that seniors like laxman,ganguly have come back, dravid can relax a bit and it seems that he is relaxing a bit too much isn't it? but, Dravid as a batsman can perform anywhere...take my words....

I think he was making runs consistantly before, because of other team mates like sehwag, sachin, Dhoni not making Valuable contribution is effecting his concentration, Thats why he is failing to put up reasonable score. I think there is a problem with rahuls techinic, recent times he was dismissed mostly by LBW, a ball hitting the deck and jagging back to the stumps giving lot of problems to him, thats why he is being dismissed very cheaply. If he rectifies his weekness then he will be alwrite

yes i think poor performance by indian midle has cuse serious problems for rahul..moreover his own performance is also not upto the mark
