comparing Lost with Giligans Island

Do you see any comparisons between lost and giligans island. who is the Capt., Giligan,professer, mr and mrs howell, mary ann, and Ginger. I realize that one show was a comedy and the other a drama, but I do notice things that remind me of GI.
