No it isnt. If u dont trust him then just settle things by having a conversation rather than peeking into his mails.

Well, we do all the time. If he brings in the mail and I am still sleeping or out...he will open everything. If it is the other way around I open everything, if its something other then a bill we just bring it to the other no questions asked. We do not keep secrets from each other, so nither of us care. Mostly it is either a bill, a bank statment or a collection aggentcy any ways lol

Definitely it is not a healthy practice. Even when some letters come to my son, I keep it on his table and if he feels like sharing it with me, I will anounce about theletter at dinner time. So also my wife.

There should be no reason why your spouse would object after all! Although I think there's probably some terribly old law in England that makes it illegal (would never get enforced though!) That you can't open anybody elses mail as it's under the Queen's protection, ie. Royal Mail!

I would have to say yes. My husband and I do it all the time. We don't have anything to hide from eachother.

I always open up my husbands mail. He is always working and never checks his mail anyways so I open it to see what it is and usually its some bill for him operating. So I would say yes. Unless its some letter written from a family member. I dont open the family letters. Cuz they are addressed to him and I see it as its his family not mine so I shouldnt interfer with that.

I always do and he doesn't get mad, it's like my unofficial job to be the mail opener person.
