rabbit meat: do you hunt them or buy them?

i know some people hunt them for food. and that they say it taste good. but im curious, is hunting them the only way to get them? can you buy them from the meat shop, or maybe in can?

I have a beautiful pet rabbit that I adore so I definitely wouldn't contemplate eating rabbit. The best place in this country UK to get fresh rabbit is from the butchers. My dad loves rabbit, acquired taste apparently.

lol! i can understand why you feel that way. my friend too have a rabbit, and when i ask him about eating a rabbit, he looks absolutely mortified! its just that its not a norm here in my country, and so i got curious.

Hi ... i'm not a hunter ... but i eat rabbit sometimes ... rabbit is really good ... in europe you can buy it in supermarket or in the butcher ... if you have the occasion ... you can try it ... it's very good with mushrooms ....

i havent either. that's why im asking if i can buy it in can because hunting rabbits here in my country is out of the question.

Oh gosh I don't eat rabbit. I watched while my father and uncle killed a whole bunch of bunnies and I think it scarred me for life.
