What's Your Idea of the Perfect 1st Date?

I'll be honest and say that this is actually for work-related purposes lol (more to come too, I'm sure), so relatively detailed and honest responses are greatly appreciated. It doesn't matter whether you're male or female, single, married, or just all together fed up with dating. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you think a perfect should be like.
If you've already been on the perfect date, then lucky you! I think I'm jealous hehe - kidding! Please feel free to share that instead, if you prefer to. Otherwise, where would you want to go, do, see, eat, etc.? Would it be romantic, fun-loving, simple and easy-going, fancy-schmacy and/or no-expense-spared, adventurous, outdoorsy, or staying at home for a nice, quiet night in?

Hum I dont know I have been out of the dating game for 5 years but I would have to say dinner, candle lit, nice soft music playing, in the back ground waves splashing from the ocean. and I nice walk afterwards on a crystal clear beach. No i dont live no where like that but I thought it sounded good to me and yes it would be my perfect date.

Hmm this is a pretty difficult question! I think maybe a picnic by the river at luch time then perhaps a movie or a bit of ice skating (always good for a laugh!) then a nice romantic meal at dinner time.

You know, I never thought of ice skating. I think the guy I was with would definitely have a good laugh at me, though I might not be able to walk for a week, but no matter hehe. I would love to go on a picnic by the river, too. Great date :) Thank you! (+)

In my opinion, perfect date needs a perfect couple.
It doesn't matter where you go or what you do, all it matters is who you are with. If you really like this person and you both feel good being with each other, it will surely be a perfect date....
