Nope. Im not ashamed to say Im a Christian. The opposite, I am very proud of it. I love my GOD, and all my whole life, my word, my action, my thought and my whole being should be used to glorify His name.

I am a Christian and I am very proud of being a Christian, I am not ashamed, even if many people say that they are Christians and do bad things. I am a Christian and I do things in accordance with the Holy Bible, no matter what people say or do.

Never would i be ashamed of my acceptance of what Christ has done for me. Yes, it's true that there are fanatics in Christianity, but you find that other places as well.

Christian means follower of Christ. You should be imitating the nature of Jesus Christ and Your eyes must be fixed on Jesus not on the fatal so called chrisians. Because bible says cursed is the man whose trust is on man. I will never be ashamed to say iam a christian.

I am a Christian and I`m not ashamed at all. What`s to be ashamed of? I love Jesus Christ, I love God, I love going to church and reading the Bible, I don`t understand what there is to be ashamed of, that would mean your ashamed that you beleive in God pretty much!

I am proud to be follower of Jesus. Religion is not important to me.A personnel life close to Jesus I love. These days in India people are experiencing that walk with Christ a daily practical happenning when a group of Hindu fanatics are attacking Christians with a political moto.God is proving to many who got persicuted that HE is ALIVE.

No I am not ashamed, though sometimes I am ashamed of the wrong doings of other christians. I still have Ghandi's words imprinted in my memory, that he would have become a Christian but the wrong example of other christians have prevented him from becoming one.

I'm a christian, there I said it, so I guess I must not be ashamed to admit to it.
Now I agree there are alot of bible-thumping, holy rolling, fundies out there who take it way to far & yes it really drives me crazy. But there's nothing I can do about it, why should I bother trying to talk to them & tell them my views & beliefs when they are too closed minded to hear anything but their own thoughts on the subject. If I tried to force them to listen then I would be no better than them, so there is no point.

I don't think anyone should feel like they have to hide something or feel ashamed about anything. I don't mind anybody of any religion running around screaming at the top of their lungs their religion, it's something personal and special to them.
Although I don't take kindly to those who'll try their hardest to 'convert' you, I don't need to be told anything about the religion, I know it through interest! And using you're going to hell as a last resort really isn't changing my mind! However I realise not all Christians are like that so would never hold it against one to another, nor would I want one to feel shame on behalf of them.

I think most people would say they are not ashamed - but that's in a general social setting. I think at one point or another someone may not be as open about what their religion is to avoid negative situations.
I'm Christian but not active. The thing that most compelled me to post though is to mention the wonderful example the woman from "Wife Swap" or whatever show it is. She was the morbidly obese woman who screamed constantly about how the other family was "not Christian". Ya - psycho.
