I don't have favourite breed because I take my dog in a shelter even if she's a breed akita inu dog. I think that the best dog is the one you love

Yes, the best dog is the one you love and the one that I love is a twelve year old brown and white fluffy mongrel called Barney. Allegedly he is a collie labrador cross but seems to have quite a bit of spaniel in him. We've had him since he was eight weeks old. He's great with kids and still full of beans but likes to go to bed earlier nowadays.

Rottweiller is my first pick and pitbulls, st. bernards, great danes, doherman. I like these becuz to many people in this world abuse these breeds and I would love to rescue them all from those people.

These breeds are all so misunderstood. People think they are mean dogs, but it's not that the dogs are mean, it's that people make them mean. I have owned doberman's for years. They are very protective, yes, but the ones I have had would not hurt anyone unless they were really, really provoked. I've also had a pit bull. He was a little bit harder to control than my doberman's but he was also a sweet and loving dog, just not quite as smart as the doberman's were.

My favorite is an American Pit Bull Terrier. We have a 3 legged one and she is a dream.

Pembrooke Welsh Corgi. They are the cutest things and they are so smart. My mom's corgi is named Lucas and he is great. He even has his own myspace page. When he was younger we used to put a puppy life vest on him and bring him swimming in the lake. He has these short, little legs that stick out like drumsticks when he sleeps.

I have a corgi named Jasmin who is 12 years old, and I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! Corgis are the BEST!

I love miniature breeds. It is easy to train them. If your need is to guard
or guide a bigger breed is required.
My favourite breed is pug.

Ours are all rescue mutts but we love them. Our only requirement is that they be a fairly large breed b/c we have kids and the larger dogs seem to be more tolerant of the small kids. Of course it could be just that they are really well trained and that a smaller dog would be the same way

Love all dogs. We have a labrador, real cute, very gentle and is spoilt like a little child. Needs to be pampered all the time.

My favorite dog is sharpei by the way. We had one for a long time and she got hit by a car. I still miss her very much.
