A few countries have a rule where it is necessary for each n every citizen to get trained in the army for some years, this being after graduation.do u think this concept should be adopted in every country?
I feel in a way this is good coz it instills love, patriotism for one's country but at the same time where the countries population is at its peek n poverty is vide spread it adopting such rule is completely impracticle.
what do u people think should such a rule be brought into existence?

I have heard of that, specifically in Israel who, for a small nation, has a very powerful military. I think it would probably do a lot of American citizens some good, maybe stop them from taking everything the military does for us for granted, and stop some of their whining. Sorry, that's just my feelings. However, here in America we are really big on our personal freedoms, and forced military service is one of those things many would consider as infringing on their freedoms.

I have often said to my friends that 2 years of service in some branch of the Armed Forces.
I can only speak in terms of the Army, but the training changes the mentality of youth. Instilling discipline, morality, integrity and Patriotism. It also provides a sense of pride and accomplishment. In order to truly appreciate the freedom in the United States, one must be willing to fight for it.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Do they just train the males, or the females too? At what age? What about people with disablities? What about people that aren't citizen's to that country? It's an interesting idea, so I'm curious to know more about it.
