This is so weird, usualy i'm installing XP into my computer without problem. until someday my computer broken because electric shock. Im try to reinstall XP pro on it but it always say my Motherboard is not compatible and sometime i get file missing when setup copy files into my harddisk. I'm going to Microsoft forum to resolve this problem they said it maybe cause usualy the Bad BIOS or bad stick memory. so I buy new RAM and put it into my computer but it's still not work! im reset my bios into default setttings and it's not work too! im so stressed how I can fix this problem! any help will be very apreciate.
Thanks.

If the problem occurred due to and electrical surge then it is possibly related to hardware damage.
I would try removing all the PCI cards and installing Windows, if this works then put them back one by one and check for any further problems which would show which was faulty.
It could even be the motherboard at fault, in which case the only solution would be to replace it.

This message refers to an inaccessible boot device, which suggests that the problem is occurring when trying to load the MBR. There could be a hard drive problem involved or a boot virus.
I assume that you have repartitioned and reformatted the hard drive, so a virus on the hard drive is not a likely situation. There could be a boot virus on the motherboard, but again this is unlikely.
I am loathe to suggest changing your hard drive because it is not guaranteed to be the problem and you could end up rebuilding the computer part by part. (You have already purchased RAM that you did not need)
If you can borrow a hard drive from a friend then you can try it to see of this is the problem, otherwise maybe by a cheap and small second hand one just to check with.

i too had a similar problem but that was not due to motherboard problem
my xp was working fine but somehow due to virus attack i had to format it 2-3 times as i had something or the other worng in windows
then i dont know how i started gettibg the blue screens similar to what u have reffered
i tried installtion but in vain
every time i got the same screen and the comp rebooted
then i changed my HDD to c if that could help
and it worked for me
my comp is now working perfectly
maybe u too have the same problem
