in my college cell phones and jeans are banned do you think this is for good

this is not good in my view

College is a place where everyone is supposed to study equally. If you want to wear jeans, you can do it outside of the college walls. The school uniforms are there to make everybody look the same, without flashing the parents' money with expensive designer clothes. The same goes for mobile phones. You're supposed to be there to listen to the lectures, and not chat with your friend in the next classroom. Mobile phones in public places are extremely annoying anyway, and college is no place to use them either. Basically, whoever decided to take those measures at your college is right in my opinion.

Your college has taken very good decision.Afterall college is place to study and not for the fun and fashion.Mobiles and Modern dresses deviate your concentration so they banned.

What is so important about your cellphone? Learn to live without it and you might see things you didn't see before because you were on the phone. As for jeans, I see your point, but they are not the end all in fashion.

No I don't think this is right but you have only seen one side of the coin but if you see the other side of coin you will realise that something bad or worst may be happened in the past because of that this rule have been passed. May be someone has miss used of mobile phone like may be taken a MMS of the girl or black mailing that girl or spread the rumour about the girl or may be taken out the poster of the MMS . Off course Jean shoudl be banned but people are wearing in a very bad way like some are wearing low waist jeans which is not showing decense. Please try to understand. This is not the question of one girl this is question of image and respect of every girl.

it is ok to ban cell phones as they will be a huge disturbance to others. but they need not ban jeans. may be jeans shorts ot so that is so revealing may be banned but definitely not jeans. it is a normal dress these days

hehe..... I dont think it should be banned... About phone you can have panelty kind of system like if you r found using cellphone in some area of college thn u will be charged some money... n for clothes... cant comment.. it sounds funny... really funny... why they habe problem with clothes...

i think its bad that u are not allowed to have jeans. poeple must decide their own what their are going to wear.
