Kadhi Another thing to go with Babita's rice! Mix curd and besan to form an even, smooth paste. Add water--- less if you like thick kadhi and more if you like it watery---till you get a mixture that is slightly more liquid than the kadhi you want. (It'll thicken as it cooks) Throw in half a teaspoon of methi seeds (Mom says besan's bad for the tummy, but methi makes it okay ;)) and boil the mixture. Once it boils, turn the flame low and continue to cook for about 8 minutes. And it's done! Now for the seasoning.... Heat a teaspoon of oil in a ladle and sputter mustard seeds, add curry leaves and whole red chillies. Fry till done and pour over the kadhi. You can add pakoras to make it kadhi pakoda, or boondi to make it boondi kadhi, or just have it as it is!

I like Chapatti (bread) with Sabzi (Vegetables, especially eggplant). This should be combined with yoghurt and served with water. Besides the good taste, it's also healthy and contains a lot of fibres. I don't like it spicy.
