I WAS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD WHEN I GOT MARRIED. NOVEMBER EIGHTEENTH NINETEEN FOURTY NINE.THAT MEANS I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR 44 YEARS 11/18/1963. I'M STILL MARRIED TO THE SAME MAN. HE IS ELEVEN YEARS OLDER THAN ME. I CAN'T SAY IT HAS ALL BEEN GREAT, BUT I BELIEVE IF YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO SAY I DO, YOU DO TILL THE DAY YOU DIE, IF YOU HAVE TO KILL HIM FIRST, HA!!!HA!!!JUST A JOKE. startED BY:LADYBUG557

I was sixteen,turning seventeen in a month when i got hitched to the ball and chain. And we have been together ever since. 6/6/91 He is twelve years older than me I'm now 32 years old. It's had it ups and downs, but we weathered it all and our marriage came out stronger for it. I can never see myself leaving him He's just to much apart of who I am. Love him dearly. My advice is not to run at the first sign of troubles. Stay to figure out what went wrong when and how and then if you cannot come up with a livable situtation then maybe. Love is out there for all who seek it.

Good for you and rest. yes a good marriage just not fall in your lap it is work. One of the things I can offer here is communication and rememeber we all are diffrent and have our own oppions. Remember if they were just a friend you respect that oppion....

that is great you don't hear of that happening too much anymore that is sad i got married when i was 16 and i got a divorce when i was 19 after two children we only got married because i got pregant and strange enough it was pregancy that lead to our divorce but it wasn't my pregancy it was the woman he was with on the side i found out about when she showed up at my door pregant

WOW! I can't imagine my 15 year old being married. The maturity level is just not there for her. Congratulations to you for still being married. No marriage is easy....you definately have to work at it. I have been married for 16 years and it's definately been a roller coaster ride! :)
