Terminator in real life possible? what do you think?

I could happen, because there is lot of research is going on Robots that acts like human, Initially they are being programmed for various household chores or just for help. In future we could see the combination of both Human and robots also, it would be kind of weired I think. ya its posssible of course!! but it can b avoided, provided the freedom to given to the machines by their creator.......... like artificial intelligence the possiblity of negative points are more..... so its all in our hands..... there is a proverb in the tamil language which means "even elixir is poisonous when it is taken too much!!!!!!

i think its possible in real life.. if we look at the technology which is developing very fast,,its not so far that we'll face situation like terminator or matrix... everybody id trying to develop better & better intelligent machine... the Artificial intelligence has come into existance.. we cant deny the possibility of terminator

Well this is a nice topic you have started,I personally do believe that this sort of thing is possible,if not in present then sometimes in the future.This is because of the fact that the amount of Artificial Intelligence that is being imparted in machines and robots to enable them to do each and every work that human's can do i don't rule out the possibility of their ability to reproduce in near future.Also their are proven facts that the concept of Nuclear winter(caused by extensive use of nuclear weapons) and Doomsday device which could wipe out the entire earth is possible.

Hmmm, I guess it could happen! I think there's more of a possibility of the nuclear winter that wiped out most of the humans in the future of that movie... How pointless would war be if it was a nations robot's fighting another nations robots! I actually would like to see that happen!
