Car that stops drunk drivers?

I just saw on CNN that there is a car that will stop you from driving drunk. It does this three ways; one is by detecting the amount of alcohol in your sweat. Sweaty palms on the steering wheel. The second way in case you are wearing gloves is by erratic driving. I have no clue how far the car has to go before it determines you are driving erratically. And the third way is that it detects dilated pupils. I guess you have an eye scanner in the rear view mirror.
Would you buy one of these cars? What if you had a teenager who had started driving? What if you had an alcoholic spouse or parent?

I have heard many controversy surrounding this and I think it is avery good thing that could save other people life. I know there are probably some other way s to get around it. Iheard someone said tome, well what if they had a friend start up the car and they drive...then they are not a good friend! And I believe that offers these to prior DUI offenders!

hey this is a very goo dinvetion by the scientist. i think it will save the life of many people because after getting drunk people have killed many people without any dam reason and if this can be checked then we are very safe. i think this system should be integrated in every car so that the police dnt have to do anything. the car will automatically detect and will stop.

hahahah very good idea, now drunkers have left with one less option. But dont even think it of for the teenagers, invention is the mother of necessity, hence those clever teenagers will find ways to get through this car hightech

something needs to be done about drink driving. it's sick how anyone could put themself in a situation where they could harm someone else. i would make it aware if someone i knew was drink driving, i would report them if i had too.

The more complex a system is, the more unpopular it becomes because the more unpredictable it becomes...
What i want to say is that how sure can we be that normal users will not be stopped from using the car because that system sis not work properly or something like that..right...
and moreover selling such technologies is difficult because it curbs freedom, and people will never go for something that is against their freedom...
But true, it would save loads of lives, i dont care for the lives of the drunk drivers, because they are taking the risk and are liable to face them, but i do care for the other innocent lives they take by driving in such a state...
Happy myLotting.... nad a very very happy new year

I think it should be a mandatory device in ANYONE that has been arrested even ONE time for DUI. Perhaps it would save some lives. I think it infringes on your rights as a citizen otherwise, unless you CHOSE to purchase a device that did the check.
I just wonder if the sweaty palms thing really works. What about those who just sweat a lot?

Thats goood of introducing this in all the countries.
Strictly all the Governments should make compultion rule for all the 4 wheelers drivers vehicle to induce this detecting device so that accidents can be reduced to ea greater extent

thats a great idea, it should be made in a heap of models of cars, but the only problem would be is the expensive the car would be.

this seems to be a cool car. but its still a matter of the time it would take it to reach the premises of a common man.
