Saddam, A wasted life

Recently Mr.Saddam Hussain was hanged on 30 dec 2006.Do u think it was fair to hang him?or would it be nice if he was sentenced to life imprisonment? Though he commited severe crimes he was a King,the president of Iraq.A person of tht status must be treated in this way.I felt bad coming to know of this News. What do u think?

as i said in another post...as much as id like to have seen him tortured for the atrocities he committed....he doesnt deserve the money wasted on him to keep him in prison for life....it costs money for that...
