Host for my blog

I am currently using blogger / blogspot to host my blog. I've decided to move my blog elsewhere due to blogger's instability and limitations. Does anyone have any good suggestions for hosts?
I'm looking at GoDaddy.com right now because they don't seem too expensive and they seem like a big enough company to handle things. Have you heard of issues with them?
Who are you using? How much does it cost per year? How is it working out for you?
Here are the details of what I am looking for...
1) ability to use or install wordress.
2) ability to create other pages
3) ability to create subdomains
4) cpanel would be nice (so would preinstalled wordpress)
5) a few email addresses/mailboxes
6) ftp access for me to it
I'm hoping to get the process rolling within the week. I'm obviously wanting the basics too. 99.7+ % uptime, reasonable storage space, the more GBs of transfer the better, etc.
Big thanks in advance...

I use Webspacedepot.net for ANO. For the most part it's a decent host and they do install Wordpress. I've been with them for about 2 years and only had 1 major issue.
They accept paypal and right now I pay $2.50 a month.

Thanks for the comment. The $2.50 a month (and via paypal even) sounds pretty good. I was looking around and didn't see if you could register domains through them or not? I'll keep looking though. If they don't allow you to register domains through them, GoDaddy looks to be about the same price (at least for year 1). GoDaddy doesn't take paypal though that I am aware of.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I'm not looking for a free service (since they lack flexibility) so this might be more what I'm aiming for.

Well u can try some free web hosts. my suggested sites would be www.ej.am or www.vulavala.com .in ej.am u need to post regularly but in vulavala.com, they dont demand nething.they just want u to be active in the forum.

Thanks for the comment. Do you know if they allow you to customize? For example, I'm wanting to make db changes. Also, I might have the need to create a few static pages.
I will check them out.

If you're considering a free blog host to host your blog feel free to visit this blog http://dnoviceblogger.blogspot.com it has a post on free blog host listings you might consider using. It also has a review on each free blog host, a survey to determine the best and popular bloghost around. I am currently using blogger as a blog host but im still researching on features of other blog host.
