How can people prove that it was innocent though & they had no clue? It would be like speeding & then when you get caught it's "oh sorry I didn't realise" we your in control of the car it's your JOB to realise...so there is no excuse for innocent mistake there. It's the same with most things, you break the law you must pay for it.

Actually I believe that it is not what it seems because the laws themselves admits of justifications. What are we if we don't have laws to guide us and set standards of conduct with all the complexities of human relations. But I should say also that no one should be punish without due process and chief of which is the right to be heard. So when one finds his/herself in danger being sued for violations of laws one should be prepared of his/her defenses, or if you will "excuses" hehe.

yes it should be punishable if innocence is not proved, or else its really possible that people might commit major crimes and prove that they were innocent

I think that if you are new to town, that may be one thing. But its everybody's responsibility to know the laws by which they are governed. I think alot of the laws are kind of universal but some arent. If you think that something moght be against the law or if there is any question of legality, its your responsability to look it up and find out one way or the other. Take care!!
