Are you Afraid of getting older? do you wish you were young again?

Hi this is an interesting subject for me, are you affraid of getting older i have a big fear of this myself personally as i always think im going to die quite young well an young old age i mean i alot of people i ask all state that they wish they was young again does anyone actually look forward to getting older? or does everyone dread this, have you had a great life? do you feel you have achieved your life goals or do you wish you could turn back time and start all over again im very interested in this topic i expect many people are look forward to any replys.

Interesting question. Well I am afraid of getting old as I have crossed nearly a little more than a quarter of a century and I have not accomplished whatever I visioned. So the thought does freeze me at times.

yes well i have accomplished the things i wanted to do when i was younger my aim was to be a proffesional footballer player or a singer i think i could of done one of these but things changed for me as soon as i hit 16 years old had twin daughters and had to move into a place straight away and find a job so this all blocked my aims and had to settle down with my family but i still have alot of time ahead of me but sometimes i fear whats in store for me in time to come after an opperation i had that was unexpected seeing that i was 100% fit and healthy and only 24 years old.

though i'm dreading to reach my birthday this year (the big 30) but i'm happy to be where i am now. of course, sometimes, there might be some thought inside that i would like to be a student again..young and vibrant and dont worry about earning money at all...but come to think about it seriously, i enjoy being an adult! i can buy whatever i wanna buy, i can go whenever i wanna go, without having to 'report' to anyone...it's nice! im enjoying my adulthood now :D

Thankyou for your reply, i agree also i enjoy being older now as like you said you can do as you please and not have to abide by other people rules apart from the law LOL. im now 24 years old myself settled down with a great partner and 2 twin daughters who are 6 years old, But i do still fear getting older and probably always will nothink ever is enough,

not actually afraid of getting older coz every age has its own interst but yes would wish to be young again.
