How can I get rid of them without getting rid of the birds?
We have some really pretty birds here but I have found they don't look near as pretty when their dead and their feathers all over the backyard.

Squirt those cats with a hose! Cats hate water! They'll eventually get the hint!

Well I am not going to sit in the backyard with a hose. :) But I think that's a good idea for those people that part across my driveway and run into the bank across the street. Oh yeah.
Although I could put a water sprinkler out there and flip a switch from my office and get them.
We do have a BlueJay that doesn't take any crap from them cats, he bomb dives and chases them all over the place. It's quite funny to watch.
thanks for your suggestion though and have a great new year

Cats are only doing what is natural, cats eat birds people eat meat & some birds, man can't have it all his way all the time. Its sad about the birds but cats have rights too, the birds will just have to learn to be smarter than the cats I guess.

Well they haven't dropped any off at my doorstep but maybe they took some home to their doorstep.
I just responded to another post and was saying that we have a BlueJay here that gives those cats a run for their money. That bird chases those cats all over.
Thanks and I will have to put some pep-pills in the bird feed.
