The vedic Astrology considers Sun and Moon in the planet list, can u say why?
Here is the truth, it lies in the difference between Astrology and Astronomy. Astronomy studies the planets and stars as they are in the solar system, without considering much about their interactive forces with each other, whereas Astrology studies the planets and stars in relation to us, that is the sun is rising in the east and rotationg around the earth in our experience, and Astrology is experience, so it is considered so. We can understand things only with our experience and only thus assumed facts can be learned easily.

Stars had been guiding mankind from prehistoric times, stars sun and moon had helped him to know the directions, time and season, even the birth of Jesus was notified by a star. The sun and moon have diirect impact on us as u can see the attraction of the moon causing high tide and low tide, the animals showing their heat in new moons, asthma getting worse in new moon days, all are experienced by us. The effect of seasons due to sun are also known to us, so do you mean that u dont believe in this? As far I am is concerned, making somebody believe Astrology is not my basic duty, but guide those who want to know more ab't it within my knowledge. Every principle in science is based on the Experiment-Observation-Inference method, so you should try, observe and finally come to a conclusion. It is not right to conclude from a one or two instances, or getting aid from a misleading person, but find somebody who is well studied in the subject and observe it with your own experiences. Dont argue, but observe patiently and this will help you to make a good judgement.
