BLOGS are they worth to put time in them

Blogs have suddenly become a buzz word. lots of people are writing blogs and these blogs runs into a thousand words and are lot tedious work to read them.
Since most of blogs are written on author's interest, they sometimes very boring to go through nad many time very irrelevent too.
