Has common people got to do anything with the political decisions of the country

my observation about this is that mostly it is handful of powerful people (with respect to money,maffia,relations with politicians etc.) and most of the common people cant get into this,this is the case in many countries ,not all.people are not allowed to enter this games.what could be done...

If you are looking for a straight forward answer, I would say a big, “YES”. Common people do have a say in the political decisions of the country, as long as it is a democracy. In Sri Lanka what the politicians do is earn for themselves at the expense of the future of the country. But if the majority of people don’t like the way they steal, they can get rid of them within 5 years. So the reason why a handful of gangsters are running the show is because more than half of the country does not want to change this situation.
