what would the situation of traffic in coming years?

today i went to market,it was hard to pass,lot of traffic there,so many jams and all.in few years i keep used to see it has been exploded?if that will be the situation,what will be the scene on roads in coming years?if more pollution,no way at all for pedesrians?in what way it will reflect our society?
