This is typical situation which doesnot happen in most of the families. In my family only on sundays all our family member will eat the lunch / dinner togather, rest all days it is taken at different. We all never get a chance to sit and relax. How about your family.

We do it as often as possible.
Now that 2 of our kids are older and working jobs with various hours it is harder.
When they aren't home for dinner though we still make it a point to have dinner with our youngest and the two of us.
I think family dinners are so important in a home.

We take breakfast and lunch on the run as it comes, But our family makes a point to sit down and have dinner together at the tble most nights. There are some nights that get filled up and we can't do that, but most of the time we are together. It gives us a chance to bond and talk about our day.

We make it a habit to eat dinner together as a family (2 adults, 2 young teens) every night... even if it means that we have to eat earlier, later, what have you. The only time we don't have four people at the table is if one of the kids is invited to a friend's house or has a school commitment, for example. Otherwise, we enjoy having the meal together.
