What type of magazine would you want to read??

I'm curious to know what do people really want to read about? What would make them want to buy Rolling Stone over Source? I would like to hear male and female opinion. I am an advertising major, so it helps me get a better insight into what I'm getting into....

Well neither of those are my interests. I like magazines with self improvement tips, like how to lower stress or keep up on self maintenance. I also like magazines on things about homes, from decorating to how to fixing things with a low budget. I like magazines that are helpful for everyday life and me.

I am not familiar with that magazines but I do buy magazines which is related to developing a business, successful business and has tips on how to start a business. I do also buy magazine which is related to technology like cell phones and computers. This will help me a lot to know more about the latest gadgets. But I seldom buy fashion magazines.
