Fear is a persons worst enemy.Never think that anything worse will happen, but as a parent think positively, because you pass on your fears to child and make your child weak because of your fear. Instead give positive vibes to your child and see he will become a bold and beautiful person.

You have nothing to worry about. Cases like this are being reported in post-natal illness. Try to see your doctor and if possible, get the advice of qualify mental health peronel. You will soon overcome it.

Is the baby in your room or another? Do you live in a rough part of town where breakins are common? If the baby is in another room, I would get a baby monitor to be able to listen to what is happening in the childs room. Granted I was not blessed with children of my own, rather wonderful stepchildren, from what I understand from my friends - women are typically very light sleepers, especially after they bring a baby into the home. The kids I have raised from tiny are all 4 legged, I found when they were babies I slept light and could hear if anything was amiss. This is similar to what friends of mine have told me who have had several kids. As new parents, you need to have your rest. You can only go so long on low or no sleep. Good luck with you new baby.
