Can this Book be made into FILM........

I recently read this book "Siberian Escape" by desmond Bagley. It is abt a German POW named Forell who escapes from the tight security prisons of Russia to go to his homeland germany. If any one has read this book, what do u think of Clemens forell, If u would have done the same as him?
Which characters has affected u in this book.
