just few days ago a little girl was killed when she was playing outside. i have always thought the reason is not the breed but the owner, but maybe some breeds are really too dangerous to have at all? when things like that happen it feels right to forbid certain breeds. what do u think?

I would never own a big dog that has been well known to attack.I would never own a pit bull or a rottweiler.I have relatives that have both of these breeds and I won't allow relatives to bring these dogs to my house. This is how I feel and I'm not afraid to let relatives or people that I know, know my feelings about this. These dogs scare me and I don't want them around me.

I really believe certain breeds should no way be allowed to be breed. I am a victim of it today, my neighbour came into my property today with his two dogs untied on the back of his ute, they jumped off the ute and attacked my cat. (ridgeback x rottweillors). Later that day my cat, needed to be put down as her injuries were to severe. I am very angry, as this neighbour knew I have small children, a cat and a small dog on my property. He later tells me that this dog even killed his own cat. He had the check to bring his killer dogs to my property, they could have killed my children, but instead they attacked my defenseless cat. I had this beautiful cat for over 6 years, and she was such a beautiful sole. Now she is gone, because of this man. You are not even safe in your own home, stupid people come to your own home with dangerous animials unleashed.

someone else also posted this on mylot earlier, but I feel owner of the killer dog was warned but he took no notice so the mishap occurred.
