Any one know about what is WI-Fi?

WI-FI is a internet option made by the affiliates of Bill Gates wich means Wireless Fidelity...you can access the internet without a wire like optical fibre...in some areas you can use internet without oaying from the users who didn't passworded their WI-FI connection.

This is another name for IEEE 802.11. It is a term coined by the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA). Products certified as Wi-Fi by WECA are interoperable with each other even if they are from different manufacturers. A user with a Wi-Fi product can use any brand of Access Point with any other brand of client hardware that is built to the Wi-Fi standard

Wi-Fi is the type of the system used to connect ur computer with the internet with any wire. that is wire less connection. There will be one common rotar connected in that area which may have the range of about 100meters circle. U have to fit one wi-fi card which may be internal or external type to ur computer. we also get a USB type system also.The cost of the above systems may range between 1000-2000Rs.
