Hmm I went through the terrible two's 36 years ago, don't remember much about it. LOL just kidding
When my boys where at that age I hated having to say no-no to them too. If it was something I could put and out of their reach I would say no-no twice and then move whatever it was. I would also look around to something I could say yes-yes to just to devert their attention from the no-no thing. That seemed to work really well with my boys.
Ppl that visited thought I was crazy that I had a toy box in my livingroom, but to be able to say yes-yes to the toys instead of no-no to breakables worked very well.

Yes the redirecting thing does wonders. They may keep going back but it does take their mind off of it for a bit.

AAA yes nice age the two's lol One thing I found with the two's they do better with more interaction and making time to have play time with them is a great thing. I find when they in the I have to say the no no then I need to do something to change that negative thing to a postive. Is it no no because they are into things...time to put those up if possible till he gets older and learns...Two's the adventure age in a child so you will be saying this word alot ...good luck
