New Years in Vegas, oh my!! Did Kid Rock try to kick in a man's door at the Hard Rock? Did Britney Spears pass out at Pure? Yes, siree it was fun, fun, fun. Let's start with Kid Rock. According to a man in a VIP suite at the Hard Rock, Kid Rock's bodyguards tried to kick in the door at 6 am to his room mistakenly thinking a certain fellow called Tommy was inside. But the Hard Rock's version, told to Norm, had Kid Rock himself and not the bodyguards accidentally banging on the wrong door. The Hard Rock publicist tells Norm that Kid Rock upon discovering his mistake "gentleman that he is, signed an autograph." Meanwhile, Britney Spears shortly after ringing in the new year was taken out of Pure for the night. Robin Leach's blog account offers that "Britney Spears collapsed and was rushed from the club." Norm, from the Review-Journal, who was 3 feet from the pop princess offers this insight: "I saw Spears drinking a rum and pineapple cocktail followed by several glasses of champagne about 12:15 a.m. Monday minutes after she gave the countdown." But Spears' manager Larry Rudolph disputes those accounts telling Norm: "She was not drunk. She was just tired and falling asleep." Welcome to Las Vegas in 2007.
